Epoch Eyewear - Murphy

(EE7147)

Audie Leon Murphy (20 June 1925 – 28 May 1971) was one of the most decorated American combat soldiers of WWII. Murphy was originally rejected by the armed forces based on his size and had to falsify documentation in order to enlist. Little did we know this man was immune to fear, bullets, and Nazis. A Medal of Honor recipient, he single-handedly held off a company of German soldiers for an hour, then led a successful counterattack while wounded and out of ammunition. Audie later took his talents to Hollywood, as both an actor and songwriter. We've named this frame in honor of this brave American, which features a classic look, super lightweight frame, and shatterproof lenses. The Murphy is a sunglass built for our wartime heroes and limelight superstars.

*Formerly known as the Epoch 11.
