This garment is part of the 2nd Generation ECWCS line, designed to offer a noiseless and comfortable outerwear solution. It is made from waterproof GORE-TEX material and membrane to protect against wind and sand. The trousers also incorporate NIR technology to minimize detection by NVGs. Manufactured in America, it meets SPEC and Berry compliance standards. The GORE-TEX fabric used in ECWCS garments is composed of a nylon outer layer, a waterproof membrane, and a nylon liner, providing long-lasting water resistance even after exposure to substances like DEET, petroleum, oils, and lubricants.
