Vintage Czechoslovakian Vz.53 Helmet

This vintage cold war era Czechoslovakian Vz. 53 Helmet was used by the Czechoslovakian military from the early 1950's onward. In western European countries and the United States, it is sometimes referred to as the Czech M53 helmet. Including a Czech seal of approval, manufacture date (1954), and the size (2) of the Vz. 53/80 and a liner of Vz. 53/80 that is in fantastic shape. This type of lining was also used in the German Stahlhelm.
Features of the Helmet:
- Condition: Excellent – Leather is still pliable and relatively clean - (a little dirty, on the outside and inside signs of wear and age)
- Size approximately measures 6 3/4" x 9 1/2"
- Construction: Steel and leather
- Stamped: on the inside front "Two crossed swords, 54, 2" and on the inside side "I-72"
- Included with this helmet is a like new helmet cover in a tan/Olive camo
- Helmet liner measures 7.5" around
- Helmet measures approximately 32" around
