East German DDR NVA Paratrooper Officers Beret in orange cloth with two piece embroidered

This is a Scarce East German DDR NVA Paratrooper Officers Beret in orange cloth with two piece embroidered. It is a great selection for a collector or someone wanting to use it for Cosplay, theater, etc.
The DDR Paratrooper Parade Beret was worn as service or ceremonial dress by East German Paratroopers. Initially, they wore grey berets (baskenmutze), but this later changed to orange to represent the coloured caps worn during the peasant uprising in Germany during the 15th century.
I believe this is a reproduction DDR Paratrooper parade berets made with wool and features a soft black leather sweatband and ribbon tie at the back. There are two vent holes on either side of the beret.
Features of the Beret:
- Condition - Previously Owned - New
- NVA Paratrooper
- Label: NVA 1/D Betr.-Nr., 06 190 006
