This World War II U.S. Navy Mark 1 fighting knife features a 5 ¼" fully Parkerized blade and a 10" overall length. The grip is made from stacked brown leather washers with red, white, and black spacers, while the pommel is constructed of aluminum. It bears original tooling marks, a maker's mark of "RH PAL 35" over "Made in U.S.A.", and the reverse ricasso is marked "U.S.N. Mark 1". The knife is stored in a slate-grey fiber scabbard with a grey webbing belt hanger, marked "U.S.N. Mark 1" on the alloy throat and "NORD-8114 B.M. Co." on the reverse, with a stylized "vp" maker's mark. Some oxidation can be seen on the rivets and metal fittings of the hanger.
