If you are looking for a Fantastic White Peaked Cap for your collection in near perfect condition (except it needs to be cleaned), for Halloween or as a gift, this is the one. Great condition very attractive hat. Made of a White heavy cloth (like sailcloth) with a vinyl bill, gold braid chinstrap, USMS chinstrap attachment buttons, and a fantastic looking hat badge (I don't know what the badge stands for)
Features of the Hat:
- Condition: Excellent - Shows small signs of wear (needs to be cleaned)
- Color: White
- Insignias: Anchor w/ a framed crest that has the sun, an island and two sailing vessels on it (I don't know what this insignia stands for) (this insignia is not attached at the top (missing the back attachment clip)
- Black leatherette sweat band in excellent condition
- Gold Braid chin strap and USMS Logo attachment buttons to hook a chin strap on
- Original Owner hand written on a post-it and tucked inside the plastic area to put a name tag:
