The cartridge pouch included in this offer is the 1950 74P-142-705 Pocket Magazine Carbine 30-R Pouch with a US mark and produced by J.Q.M.D in the year 1950. Its purpose is to carry the recently distributed 30-round magazine for the M1 Carbine. The pouch can be attached to a soldier's pistol belt and can hold two 30-round magazines, as well as surplus .30 Carbine ammunition fitted on stripper clips. This accessory allows soldiers to easily access over 100 rounds of ammunition, with an additional 60 rounds loaded in two magazines.
