The 2011-D Ulysses Grant Presidential Dollar was the second design of the year for the Presidential Dollar coin. Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th President of the United States and a West Point graduate, was also known as "Unconditional Surrender" for his military successes. He played a major role in ending the Confederate States of America by leading the Union Army to victory. In addition, he was the first president since Andrew Jackson to serve two full terms. During his presidency, he focused on Reconstruction and signed and enforced numerous civil rights laws.
I do not know if these coins were ever circulated or not and they have not been graded. Each Coin Sold Separately.

- Date and mint mark are located on the edge inscription of the coin along with the mottoes “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM”
