Lithgow 1907 Bayonet Mangrove 42
LIMITED ITEM. SURPLUS - USED. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEM. Once they are gone we may not get any more.
We purchased this as an Original Bayonet many years ago and have had it displayed in our store for years. From my research this bayonet was designed at the Lithgow Small Arms factory in Australia just prior to WWI. The Lithgow 1907 Bayonet would become Australia’s staple weapon along with it’s counter part, the Enfield No1 Mark III rifle.
Features of the Sword:
- Condition: Very Good (beautiful patina- some rust on the top of the blade)
- Includes original factory Scabbard Sheath: Mangrove '42 Scabbard
- Blade Length: 17"
- Full Length in Scabbard: 23"
- Markings on bayonet: Side 1: MA 1907 179 42 Side 2: ^X OA, Scabbard: Mangrove '42
NOTE: The picture because it was taken outside in the early sunlight, the silver looks a little blue. These pictures don't do the item justice. It is a beautiful sword.
