Interested in American history, well then this is a good find. This Vintage Crenshaw Bowl 250 Lapel Pin is in perfect shape. The pin was part of a collection a gentleman had along with many other WWI, WWII and Vintage Los Angeles pins (most from WWI and WWII era). I believe this pin is from the Holiday Bowl which was a bowling alley on Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 1958 by five Japanese-Americans and was a significant part of the rebuilding process of the Nikkei community after internment during World War II. Nice example good condition! Great addition to any anybody's collection.
Features of the Pin:
- Condition: Excellent - Needs to be cleaned to see the nice detail in this pin
- Size:1/2" x 9/16"
- Front: Two bowling pins and a bowling ball with "250" on it between them, an arrow pointed up with the words "Crenshaw Bowl" on them
- Back: I don't see a maker mark
- Gold colored metal
- Pin works great
