Original East German Police Jacket with Betriebsscmutz patch on left arm. This item does not include the shoulder boards. The Betriebsschutz (or "Operating Protection") were a special type of agent who policed operational safety hazards in the workplace, similar to an OSHA inspector in the USA. They would often be seen testing the strength of guard rails and the expiration dates on fire extinguishers. Excellent choice for any collector, person searching for Halloween attire, or simply a fantastic jacket for regular use.
