The U.S. Office of Civilian Defense was started shortly after the Attack on Pearl Harbor in response to a supposed lack of federal protection for civilians in case of war emergency.

A genuine WWII-era M1 civil defense helmet featuring its original liner and tan finish. This historically significant piece retains complete webbing and displays authentic patina from careful storage. Perfect for dedicated collectors and history scholars who value original military artifacts from this pivotal era.  This helmet is a genuine piece of American military history.

Features of the Helmet:

  • Condition: Superb some storage issues that are shown in the pictures below
